I strongly believe poor communication often is not just an issue of communication skills but an outing of deeper layers of dissatisfaction. How well does one feel at ease in an organisation? How well does one adapt to a rapidly changing environment? What kind of culture is there in a team? How well does a team work together?
Often we focus on what is visible in an organisation. We can see what people do or don’t and therefore offer training on knowledge and skills. When we include and focus on why people act and think the way they do, we can create a pallet of opportunities to improve our communication. We include the invisible, unconscious layer of what’s happening in an organisation.
This is why I developed a program combining working on interpersonal communication skills and understanding team development.
Every session is based on one of the four different elements of the Model of Connected Communication.
